Packing Checklist: Carry-On Essentials

As you prepare for a trip, there are items that you should always have in your carry-on with the understanding that you do not want your carry-on to become a Mary Popins Bag. These are the things that I make sure to always have in my carry-on

• Water bottle

• Snacks

• Disinfecting Wipes. 

• Charger Cables

• Books or E-Reader

• Change of clothes

• Travel Toothbrush Kit

• Travel Blanket

• Noise Canceling Headphones

• Eye Mask

• Headphones

• Pain Relievers, Sleep Aids and Other Medications

• Any Valuable Jewelry

• Small Notebook and Pen

• Ziploc Bags

Another key thing is to break these items down to what you need on the plane and what you need at your destination. Once you have these separated, you can put them each in a separate gallon Ziploc Bag for easy access. Nothing will drive my wife more crazy then having to watch me dig through my bag looking for something.
