Latest Worry About Flying:  Cleaning Your Hands in the Bathroom

Another scary article that will make my wife crazy is that in addition to all of the germs on the seat tray, we have to worry about water on an airplane.  We are not only talking about the ice cubes and water in coffee and tea, which we need to be concerned about.

Travel and Leisure is reporting that we need to be concerned about washing our hands in the bathroom.  Not only are the handles dirty, the water itself is probably contaminated. Enough so that it is a wonder that not everyone who uses the bathroom does not get sick.

If you follow this article, then you just have to realize that you are taking your life into your own hands when you board a flight.  Everywhere there are germs and potential disease lurking.  It is a wonder that the CDC does not bank air travel.

Just to summarize, water in the ice, coffee, tea and bathroom will in most circumstances contain bacteria that will cause you to be sick.

I think that the way to go is to always have wipes and Purell to clean yourself!
