Ev&Em Vineyards stands as one of the newest and most exciting additions to the North Fork wine scene. Purchased in 2021 by new owner Dan Abrams and managing partner Vanessa Price and named after Abrams’ children, this vineyard has undergone an expansive renovation.
My first impression of Ev&Em Vineyards was that the tasting room and outdoor seating area is a major step up from other North Fork vineyards. The tasting room is bathed in new wood and with a view of their wine making operations. There was an impressive focus on details including a wood style air conditioning vent. You do not normally see that attention to detail at a vineyard.
They have an outside seating area with two levels and live background music on weekends. Of course, this outside seating overlooks the vineyard. It was very relaxing taking in the vista. A very elegant experience.
The focus here is firmly on the wine. They have three types of Chardonnay including a barrel oaked, steel barrel and a reserve one. We went with the Reserve Chardonnay as well as their Pinot Gris. We figured that the reserve would start with their best grapes and have a superior tase. We could definitely tell it was oaked due to its woodsy aroma of oak. We did feel it was too minerally. But overall a very good Chardonnay.
Our favorite wine was the Pinot Gris. It was lively, refreshing and balanced. We felt that it was a perfect wine for a Saturday afternoon. I loved the white peach flavoring. I felt this wine was perfectly balanced.
Our recommendation is to do the wine and chocolate pairing. Chocolate just adds to the whole experience.

Overall: Ev&Em Vineyards offers a truly wonderful experience for anyone exploring the North Fork. It starts with a stunning tasting room, beautiful outdoor spaces, and a dedicated team. Ev&Em Vineyards delivers a luxurious and memorable experience. You should definitely add it to the list of wineries to visit on the North Fork of Long Island
