We went to Casalina again. I will review Casalina in Delray Beach in another posting. But I wanted to voice my opinion on how important the wait staff to the entire experience. On our latest vist to Casalina, we had a really bad waitress. |
Our waitress forgot to put in our pizza order. As a result, it took 55 minutes from we ordered it. The only we ended up getting it was to remind our waitress. I had asked for red pepper flakes but she either forgot or they were out. Needless to say, it was not served to us. |
Following that, when she served the wine in the individual carafes, they were not filled to the top. So in effect, we were cheated out of the wine we ordered. We will skip over the fact that she did not ask us if we wanted another drink. |
Then when our entrees came which were fine. However, the side of broccoli was ice cold. We tried to flag down our waitress but she was no where to be seen. After another 10 minutes, I grew frustrated and dropped off the broccoli with someone by the kitchen. I do not know when I would have seen her next and I did not want to wait anymore. |
The kitchen did heat up this broccoli and have our waitress return. There was no acknowledgement that there was a problem. She just dropped it off at the table. |
Following that, she did not ask us how our meal was or whether we needed anything else. After another 25 minutes, we were able to ask her for the check. |
All of this lack of service just left a bad taste in my mouth. I just have to remark that it impacted our experience and enjoyment at the restaurant. I would think twice about returning due to the sour taste in my mouth. |
