I found this interesting graphic showing the top paddles used ny Pickleball Pros

According to this graphic, which I know is annoying since there are only 2 colors with a bunch of shading, Joola represents roughly a third of the pro market place. Are their paddles so much better than Proton, Selkirk or Paddletex?
After speaking with several pickleball shop owners, the consensus is that Joola is paying more sponsorship money than the other manufacturers. My immediate reaction is that this seems to be a negative or jealous reaction from these shop owners.
As we dig in, we recognize that each player has their own individual needs and should choose their paddle accordingly. We recognize that money will influence their decisions. I have been unable to nail down the specific sponsorship money but based upon who they are sponsoring, I would concur that they are spending more money than other manufacturers.
Also, I would not that Joola has a considerable number of banned paddles with a breakout including:
JOOLA: Perseus 14mm MOD TA-15, Perseus 16mm MOD TA-15.
Gearbox: Pro Power Elongated.
ProKennex: Black Ace Ovation, Black Ace Pro, Black Ace LG, Black Ace XF
I acknowledge that Joola has the best pickleball paddle for the pros but I am not a pro! Also, most players are not even close to be a pro. As a result, we should not always choose a paddle because someone who is infinitely better than we are chose that paddle.
For example, people at my level may want more control while others may want more power. We recommend that you choose a paddle that fits into your game and skill level.
