We had dinner in Glen Cove and were looking for good place for ice cream. We did not want to go back to Fruit and Scoop so after a quick google search, we found a dessert and ice shop named Dessertino / Craft Spoon in Sea Cliff. I do not know why this shop has two names. It is confusing but they more than make up for it.
The shop was in a cute house. The vibe continued with a cozy environment inside. They had the ice cream on the right and the pastries in the center. They did have a serious looking coffee machine which did not serve any purpose for me since I do not eat coffee.
We ordered two scoops, a dark chocolate and banana brownie ones. This could have been the best ice cream we ever had. It was so rich and creamy. The flavors were vibrant and enticing. They just nailed the ice cream.

As we were leaving, I was talking to the owner (but stupid me, I did not ask about the two names for the shop ☹). He said that we should try some of the pastries. The crumb cake looked good. We bought a slice for the next day. I have to say this did not disappoint me either. It was one of the best that I have ever had as well. It gave the one that I had from Maureen’s Kitchen a real run for its money.

Dessertino / Crafty Spoon is definitely must go ice cream and dessert shop. They do everything right there. I highly recommend a visit!!
