The Platform is owned and operated by Crunching Data LLC.  Welcome to David.Travel, where we dish up honest and critical travel information. 

We are committed to protecting your privacy online. We appreciate that you do not want the personal information you provide to us distributed indiscriminately and here we explain how we collect information, what we do with it and what controls you have.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy from time to time by changing it on the Platform.

In addition to this policy, our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Platform and are, where relevant, incorporated by reference into this policy.


INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

We may collect and process the following information about you. Please read this section carefully to understand how we obtain your data:

Information (such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number and resume) that you provide by completing forms on the Platform or by uploading your resume, including if you register as a user of the Platform, subscribe to any service, upload or submit any material via the Platform, request any information, or enter into any competition or promotion we may sponsor.

In addition, we may send email alerts and other relevant text messages to your mobile phone number if you provide your mobile phone number and request these text alerts when you register with our Site or update your account settings. Shortly after opting-in to this alert feature, you will receive a text welcome message. You can opt-out of receiving these alerts by texting “STOP”. You understand and agree that you will receive a confirmation text that you have opted-out. You also can manage whether to receive text alerts at any time by notifying us of your desire to change. You understand and agree that if you opt-in to receive text alerts, we also may text your mobile phone number on behalf of our clients and partners solely to send you relevant text messages.

We may also collect information about you automatically through your use of the Platform. This information may include:

  • Your activity on the Platform, including the date and time of your visit, search terms you used, and content you accessed;
  • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address and general geographic area;
  • Your device identification and browser type; and

By registering on or using our Platform, you consent to the disclosure of your personal information to our partners and affiliates in accordance with your account settings and this policy. The information collected from our affiliates is used strictly for our affiliate program; none of this information is used for general marketing purposes.

In some cases, our software and Platform are utilized by our partners in a business alliance via their web community. In these cases, the information collected on our Platform is available to both companies.

You are under no obligation to provide any such information. However, if you should choose to withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide you with certain services.


COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Essential session management

  • Creating a specific log-in session for a visitor to the Website in order that the Website remembers that a visitor is logged in and that their page requests are delivered in an effective, secure and consistent manner;
  • Recognizing when a visitor to the Website has visited before allowing us to identify the number of unique visitors we receive to the Website and make sure we have enough capacity for the number of users that we get;
  • Recognizing when a visitor to the Website is a registered member;

Tracking Gifs are small image files within the content of the Site or the body of our newsletters so we or third parties can understand which parts of the Site are visited and whether particular content is of interest.

There may be instances where information you have submitted to the Platform is temporarily cached or stored by another site, such as Google.com, even after such information has been removed from the Platform. These sites are maintained by third parties not controlled by us. Accordingly, we expressly disclaim any responsibility for the cached information displayed by these third-party web sites.

USES MADE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will use the information you provide to:

  • Enable us to process your orders and to provide you with the services and information offered through the Platform now and in future and which you request;

  • Audit the downloading of data from the Platform;
  • Improve the layout and/or content of the pages of the Platform and customize them for users;

USES OF YOUR INFORMATION IN EMAIL PROGRAM

In the event that you opted in to our email program you will receive newsletters or other forms of communications by email, SMS text, messaging app or other communication methods we offer and you requested, which match your criteria. You can adjust the frequency of your alerts or opt-out at any time by changing your preferences on your account page or opt-out from our email program by clicking on the unsubscribe link within any email. By opting in for our email program you agree that you are bound to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.


INFORMATION SHARING

The information you have provided in your profile can be viewed by clients of David.Travel. However, we value your privacy and we want you to remain in control of your data so we restrict clients’ access only to clients that have direct relationships with us.

If you supply a telephone number in your profile, this number may be used to contact you via telephone calls or SMS messages. 

We do not disclose, share, sell, trade or rent information about your individual visits to the Platform or personal information that you provide, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number, etc., to any outside parties other than as disclosed within this Privacy Policy.

We may disclose aggregate statistics about visitors to the Platform, clients and sales in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers, sponsors and other reputable third-parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

To the extent that the law allows and is required to operate the service, we may disclose your personal information to any of our affiliates, or to our agents or contractors who assist us in providing the services we offer through the site, processing transactions, fulfilling requests for information, receiving and sending communications, updating marketing lists, analyzing data, providing support services or in other tasks, from time to time. Our agents and contractors will only use your information to the extent necessary to perform their functions.

We may share your information with our parent company Crunching Data LLC or with other companies in our group – which with regard to this Privacy Policy are not considered to be third parties. In the event that we undergo a reorganization or are sold to a third party, you agree that any personal information we hold about you may be transferred to that reorganized entity or third party.

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to prevent fraud or cyber-crime or to protect the Platform or the rights, property or personal safety of any person.

We may also disclose your personal information to any other third party with your prior consent.

SMS messages will only be sent from David.Travel in the following circumstances:

  • Should you have opted in to our email program, then David.Travel may send you SMS messages informing you of any products and services that match your profile.

At any time you may opt out of receiving SMS messages using any of the methods described in ‘MOBILE SHORT CODE TERMS OF SERVICE’ in our Terms and Conditions.


PUBLIC FORUMS

The Platform may, from time to time, make chat rooms, message boards, news groups and/or other public forums available to its users. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when using these and never disclose your personal information.


FEATURED PROGRAMS

On certain pages of our Platform we may offer products of third parties. Information collected on these pages and other information you have provided to David.Travel may be passed on to the featured program entity to fulfill your request. If you do not wish to have your personal information shared in this manner please do not fill out these forms or request these services, if you have already provided your information and do not wish to be contacted by these third parties please contact them directly.


CHILD SAFETY

Protecting the safety of children when they use the Internet is very important to us. Given this site is for recruitment of employees, this site is intended for use only by those of legal working age in the state in which you reside. Typically, this is 16 years of age. We will not knowingly collect PII from a child under the age of 16 and will delete such information when brought to our attention either by a parent, legal guardian or law enforcement agency. Additionally, we recommend that minor children under the age of 18 receive permission from their parent or guardian before gaining access to the Platform or sending personal information to us or anyone else online.

This Platform may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by David.Travel. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies and terms and conditions of such other sites.

We encourage you to be aware when you leave the Platform and to read the privacy policies of each and every website that collects personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by the Platform.


SOCIAL MEDIA BUTTONS AND WIDGETS

Our Platform includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button and widgets, such as the share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Platform. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.


SECURITY

We place great importance on the security of all Personally Identifiable information associated with our users. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control. For example, our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized personnel have access to personal information. While we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of information will never occur, we use all commercially reasonable efforts to prevent it.

You should bear in mind that submission of information over the internet is never entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you submit via the Platform while it is in transit over the internet and any such submission is at your own risk.

It is advisable to log off on your account and close your browser when you have finished your user session to help ensure others do not access your personal information if you use a shared computer or a computer in a public place.


UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete inaccuracies, or deactivate your account by making the change on your account page, or by emailing us at privacy@david.travel  We will respond to your access request within 30 days.


RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

When you access the Platform, we store some information about you including anonymous user behavior data used for statistical purposes.

We reserve the right to remove from our database any information which contains content that we consider in our sole opinion to be illegal, inappropriate or offensive.

You can manage the communications you receive from us by notifying us how you would like it to change.

If you would like a digital copy of all the data we hold about you please make a request by emailing privacy@david.travel with the subject line “Please contact me about my data”. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and in compliance with our data retention policy. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at privacy@david.travel.

Please note we will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements and will retain information you have submitted to us as required for our records keeping requirements.


STORAGE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Information that you submit via the Platform is sent to and stored on secure servers located in the USA. This is necessary in order to process the information. Information submitted by you may be transferred by us to our other offices and/or to the third parties mentioned in the circumstances described above (see information sharing), which may be situated outside the USA  and may be processed by staff operating outside the USA. The countries concerned may not have similar data protection laws. Where we transfer your information, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected. By submitting information via the Platform, you agree to this storing, processing and/or transfer.


PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES AND UPDATES

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes in the way we collect, use, or store your PII we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on the Platform prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review our Privacy Policy for the latest information on our privacy practices.
